Ryder Authorizes New Anti-Dilutive Program to Repurchase Up to 1.5 Million Shares
MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE: R), a leader in commercial fleet management, dedicated transportation, and supply chain solutions, announced that its Board of Directors has authorized a new share repurchase program to mitigate the dilutive impact of shares issued under the company's employee stock plans. The new program replaces Ryder’s previous anti-dilutive program, which expired in December 2019.

Ryder supplies 162 new DAF Euro 6 vehicles to international textile, hygiene and facilities services specialist Elis
Birmingham, UK, 13 November 2019 – Ryder, a leading independent provider of commercial vehicle rental, contract hire, and maintenance services in the UK, is supplying 162 new DAF vehicles to international textile, hygiene and facilities services specialist Elis.
This is the first heavy good vehicle (HGV) order by Elis since it acquired Berendsen, and the new vehicles are being supplied in new ‘Elis’ livery designed specifically for the UK market.

Ryder appoints Phil Ashton as Business Development Director
Ryder, a leading independent provider of commercial vehicle contract hire, rental, and maintenance services, has appointed Phil Ashton to the position of Business Development Director.
Phil joins Ryder from trailer manufacturer Montracon, where he held the position of Sales and Marketing Director.
Prior to joining Montracon, Phil clocked up 17 years’ continuous service at Ryder as Head of Area Sales.

Food wholesaler Spizarnia chooses Ryder for first-time contract hire to meet London ULEZ compliance
Ryder, a leading independent provider of commercial vehicle contract hire, rental, and maintenance services, has supported Polish food wholesaler Spizarnia with its first vehicle contract hire agreement for the supply of Euro 6 trucks.
“Usually I buy five-year-old vehicles on the used truck market, but with the London Ultra Low Emission Zone coming into force earlier this year, it was proving very difficult to get hold of second-hand Euro-6 vehicles,” commented Przemyslaw Duklas, Director of Spizarnia (UK).

A2B-online Transport refleets with Ryder
Ryder, a leading independent provider of commercial vehicle contract hire, rental, and maintenance services, has supplied 30 new DAF XF tractor units to transportation and shipping firm A2B-online Transport.
Based in Nacton, Ipswich, A2B-online Transport was formed in 2011 to supply UK trucking to the trailer division of its Dutch parent company A2B-online.
“The new DAF tractor units are Super Space Cabs fitted with fridges and microwaves to provide as much comfort as possible for our drivers,” said Matthew Coleman, General Manager at A2B-online Transport.
