Mike Dill is Sr. Copywriter of Marketing and Communications at Ryder System, Inc. He has an extensive background in creating innovative content for brand awareness and dynamic marketing campaigns across multiple mediums including digital, video, print, and social media. Most recently, Mike led the creation and launch of Ryder Compass, and serves as the blog’s executive editor. Mike is also the lead content creator for Ryder’s three business units – Fleet Leasing & Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Dedicated Transportation Solutions. This includes expertise in numerous verticals like retail, automotive, health & technology, oil & gas, building & construction, metals, dairy, food & beverage, and CPG just to name a few, as well as having an extensive knowledge of key industry topics such as advanced vehicle technology, smart warehousing, connected maintenance facilities, e-commerce fulfillment, last mile delivery, big data, and talent management.
Prior to joining Ryder in 2014, Mike was an award-winning journalist and Managing Editor at Calkins Media. He covered numerous beats including sports, politics, crime, education, and agriculture during his more than 12 years in the journalism business. Mike graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. He has also finished seven marathons.
